Biography

Coach Chris Swain, is a native of Atlanta, GA. He was an All-Dekalb County Performer (1999 – 2001) while playing at Redan High School in Stone Mountain, GA. After high school, Swain attended Jones Community College in Ellisville, MS. He was ranked as one of the top five Safeties in the country by Max Emfinger in his postseason All-American listing. Leading Jones Community College to the State College Championship with a 10-1 overall record during his freshman season, the Bobcats finished the 2001 season ranked No.6 in the final National Junior College. In 2003, Coach Swain signed with Mississippi State University as a Safety and garnered an All SEC selection in 2005. Since 2013, Coach Swain has served in multiple coaching capacities throughout Dekalb County. From 2013- 2015 he served as Assistant Head Football Coach and Track & Field Coach at Towers High School in Decatur, GA. He also served as Defensive Coordinator for Miller Grove High School in 2016. Coach Swain is currently the Defensive Coordinator at Columbia High School in Decatur, GA.
